Turn your whole screen into a solid white, black or any color with one tap. The screen stays on until you exit.
Move the mouse or tap to show the controls. Use ← → or Space to change color and Esc to exit. The screen stays on while a color is open.
Popular uses
- Light source: white or warm light makes a soft fill light for video calls, selfies or reading in the dark.
- Cleaning: dust, fingerprints and streaks are easiest to see on black and white.
- Pixel checks: dead pixels stand out on white, stuck pixels on black. For a guided test, use the dead pixel test.
- Tracing: put thin paper on a tablet with a white screen to trace drawings.
- Prank or display: a "blue screen" or a black screen that looks switched off.
On OLED screens, a full white screen at maximum brightness uses more battery and gets the screen warm. For long sessions, lower the brightness a little.
